Jesus answered, and said to him, "If any one loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him. He who loves Me not, keeps not My words; and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father's Who sent Me. "These things have I spoken to you, while abiding with you. read more.
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all things that I told you. "Peace I leave for you; My own peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled; neither let it be fearful. Ye heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I come to you.' If ye loved Me, ye would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; because the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you before it comes to pass; that, when it comes to pass, ye may believe. I will no more speak much with you; for the Prince of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;

Now we request you, brethren, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together to Him, that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by letter as from us, as that the day of the Lord has set in. Let no one deceive you in any manner; because that day will not come, unless the falling away come first, and the man of lawlessness be revealed??he son of perdition; read more.
he that opposes himself against, and exalts himself above, all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he sits in the temple of God, exhibiting himself as God. Do ye not remember that, when I was yet with you, I was wont to tell you these things? And now ye know what hinders his being revealed in his own season; for the mystery of lawlessness is already working: only He Who hindereth will hinder, until He is taken out of the midst. And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth, and will bring to nought by the manifestation of His presence; him whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and lying wonders, and in all deceit of unrighteousness to those who perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And, for this cause, God sendeth them a working of delusion, that they may believe the lie; that they all may be judged, who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Little children, it is the last hour; and, as ye heard that Anti-Christ is coming, even now many anti-christs have arisen; whence we know that it is the last hour. They went out from among us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out, that they might be made manifest, that they are not all of us.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. In this ye know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ hath come in flesh is of God; and every spirit that confesses not Jesus is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Anti-Christ, of which ye have heard that it is coming, and now it is in the world already.

Jesus answered and said, "This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world: now will the Prince of this world be cast out; and I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."

They said, therefore, to Him, "Who art Thou?" Jesus said to them, "Even that which I am saying to you from the beginning. I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. I glorified Thee on the earth; having completed the work which Thou hast given Me to do. And, now, Father, glorify Thou Me with Thine Own Self, with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was. I manifested Thy name to the men whom Thou gavest Me out of the world. Thine they were; and Thou gavest them to Me; and they have kept Thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou gavest Me are from Thee; because the words which Thou gavest Me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew truly that I came forth from Thee, and believed that Thou didst send Me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom Thou hast given Me; because they are Thine. And all Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world; and these are in the world, and I come to Thee. Holy Father, keep, in Thine Own name, those whom Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, even as we are. While I was with them, I was keeping, in Thy name, those Whom Thou hast given Me; and I guarded them, and no one of them perished, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to Thee, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy made full in themselves. I have given them Thy word, and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth. As Thou didst send Me into the world, I also sent them into the world; and in their behalf I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. And I do not pray for these only, but for those also who believe on Me through their word; that they may all be one, even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me. And the glory which Thou hast given to Me I have given to them, that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and lovedst them, even as Thou didst love Me. Father, as to what Thou hast given Me, I desire that they also maybe with Me, where I am; that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me; because Thou didst love Me before the founding of a world. O righteous Father! and the world knew Thee not; but I knew Thee, and these knew that Thou didst send Me; and I made known to them Thy name, and will make it known; that the love with which Thou lovedst Me may be in them, and I in them."

Jesus, therefore, said to them again, "Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; through Me if any one enter, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and find pasture. read more.
