Then He cometh to his disciples and saith, Are ye sleeping still and taking your rest? behold, the hour is come, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us go, see the traitor is at hand. And while He was yet speaking, behold, Judas one of the twelve came, and with him a great number, with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people: (now he that betrayed Him, had given them a signal, saying, The man whom I shall kiss is He, lay hold of Him:) and going directly up to Jesus, he said, Hail master, and kissed Him. Jesus saith unto them, I am He. And Judas that betrayed Him, was standing with them. Now as soon as He said unto them, I am He, they went backwards and fell to the ground. Then He asked them again, Whom do ye seek? And they said, Jesus the Nazarene. Jesus answered, I have told you that I am He: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:
