So Jesus turned and said to them: "Women of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. There was a bowl standing there full of common wine; so they put a sponge soaked in the wine on the end of a hyssop-stalk, and held it up to his mouth. When Jesus had received the wine, he exclaimed: "All is finished!" Then, bowing his head, he resigned his spirit to God.
