Then he says to Thomas, Bring thy finger here, and see my hands, and bring thy hand, and put into my side, and do not become faithless, but believing. Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God. Jesus says to him, Because thou have seen me, thou have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed.



and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven and in the earth.

who remembered us in our low estate, for his loving kindness [is] forever,

For though LORD is high, yet he has respect to the lowly. But he knows the haughty from afar.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, Why does your teacher eat with the tax collectors and sinners?

because he has looked upon the lowliness of his bondmaid. For behold, from henceforth all generations will regard me blessed,

rises from supper, and set his garments aside, and after taking a towel, he girded himself.

And having said this, he showed them his hands and side. His disciples therefore rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

After these things Jesus manifested himself again to his disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And he revealed himself this way. There were together, Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other men of his disciples.
