Then He said to Thomas, Reach your finger here and behold My hands; and reach your hand here and thrust it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing. And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God! Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen Me you have believed. Blessed are they who have not seen and have believed.



who humbles Himself to behold the things in the heavens and in the earth!


Though Jehovah is high, yet He has respect to the lowly; but the proud He knows afar off.

And when the Pharisees saw, they said to His disciples, Why does your master eat with tax-collectors and sinners?

For He looked on the humiliation of His slave woman. For, behold, from now on all generations shall count me blessed.

He rose up from supper and laid aside His garments. And He took a towel and girded Himself.

And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

And after eight days the disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace to you! The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I shall see the print of the nails in His hands, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a lance, and instantly there came out blood and water.


After these things Jesus revealed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. And He revealed Himself this way: Simon Peter, and Thomas called the Twin, and Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.
