Yet that we may not offend them, go to the sea, and cast an hook, and take the fish that first cometh up. And when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money. That take and give them for me and thee.

In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And the disciples seeing him walking on the sea, were troubled, saying, It is an apparition: and they cried out for fear. But Jesus immediately spake to them, saying, Take courage: it is I: be not afraid. And Peter answering him said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come to thee on the water. And he said, Come. And they awake him and say to him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace; be still. And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
And as the multitude pressed on him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesareth, And saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And going into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he desired him to thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the multitude out of the boat. read more.

And on a certain day he went into a vessel with his disciples: and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they put to sea. And as they sailed, he fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake, and they were filled with water, and were in danger. And they came and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish! And he arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Peter turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, who is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him, saith to Jesus, Lord, what shall this man do? Jesus saith to him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is it to thee? Follow thou me. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him, That he should not die: but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is it to thee?
