Then one of the twelve, who is called Judas Iscariot, having gone unto the chief priests, said, 'What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him up to you?' and they weighed out to him thirty silverlings, and from that time he was seeking a convenient season to deliver him up.

And they set two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias, and having prayed, they said, 'Thou, Lord, who art knowing the heart of all, shew which one thou didst choose of these two to receive the share of this ministration and apostleship, from which Judas, by transgression, did fall, to go on to his proper place;'
