If a man receives circumcision on a sabbath, that the law of Moses be not broken, are ye angry with Me, because I made a whole man well on the sabbath? Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment." Some, therefore, of those of Jerusalem said, "Is not This He Whom they are seeking to kill? And, behold, He is speaking openly, and they say nothing to Him! Did the rulers ever truly know that This is the Christ? But as to This Man we know whence He is; but, when the Christ cometh, no one knows whence He is." Some of the multitude, therefore, having heard these words, said, "Truly This is the Prophet;" others said, "This is the Christ;" but some said, "What? doth the Christ come out of Nazareth?" Did not the Scriptures say, that the Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?" A division, therefore, arose in the multitude because of Him. And some of them were wishing to seize Him; but no one laid hands on Him. The officers, therefore, came to the high priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, "Why did ye not bring Him?" The officers answered, "Never did man speak thus!" The Pharisees; therefore, answered them, "Have ye also been led astray? Did any one of the rulers believe on Him, or of the Pharisees? But this multitude, who know not the law, are accursed." Nicodemus says to them (he who came to Him before, being one of them), "Does our law judge a man, unless it first hear from him, and know what he does?" They answered, and said to him, "Are you also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee arises no prophet." [And each one went to his house;

And one poor widow, coming, cast in two mites, which is a farthing.
