Woe be to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye are as graves which appear not; And the men that walk over them, are not aware of them." Then he said, "Woe be to you also ye lawyers: for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be born, and ye yourselves touch not the packs with one of your fingers. Verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this nation. Woe be to you lawyers: for ye have taken away the key of knowledge, ye entered not in yourselves, and them that came in ye forbade." They answered him, "We be Abraham's seed, and were never bond to any man: why sayest thou then, 'Ye shall be made free?'"
