The atonement » Exhibits the » Grace and mercy of God
Which spared not his own son, but gave him for us all: How shall he not with him give us all things also?
But God, which is rich in mercy through his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead by sin, hath quickened us together in Christ - for by grace are ye saved -
For to show, in times to come, the exceeding riches of his grace, in kindness to us ward, in Christ Jesus.
which will have all men saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Nevertheless, we yet see not all things subdued unto him. But him that was made less than the angels, we see that it was Iesus: which is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste of death for all men.
Christ » Star » Substitution of, for sinners
Forasmuch as Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, for to bring us to God, and was killed, as pertaining to the flesh: but was quickened in the spirit.
For the zeal of thine house hath even eaten me; and the rebukes of them that rebuked thee is fallen upon me.
But Christ hath delivered us from the curse of the law, and was made accursed for us - for it is written, "Cursed is everyone that hangeth on tree" -
Nevertheless, we yet see not all things subdued unto him. But him that was made less than the angels, we see that it was Iesus: which is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste of death for all men.
for he hath made him to be sin for us, which knew no sin, that we by his means should be that righteousness which before God is allowed.

Nevertheless, we yet see not all things subdued unto him. But him that was made less than the angels, we see that it was Iesus: which is crowned with glory and honour for the suffering of death; that he, by the grace of God, should taste of death for all men.
For we followed not deceitful fables when we opened unto you the power, and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but with our eyes we saw his majesty: Even then, verily, when he received of God the father honour and glory, and when there came such a voice to him from that excellent glory. "This is my dear beloved son, in whom I have delight" - This voice we heard when it came from heaven, being with him in the holy mount.

yet unto us is there but one God, which is the father, of whom are all things, and we in him: and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
And now glorify me, thou father, with thine own self, with the glory which I had with thee yer the world was.
God, in time past, diversely and many ways, spake unto the fathers by prophets: but in these last days he hath spoken unto us by his son, whom he hath made heir of all things: by whom also he made the world.
"Thou art worthy, Lord, to receive glory, and honour, and power, for thou hast created all things, and for thy will's sake they are, and were created."
Thou, LORD, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; they all shall wax old as doth a garment, and as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed. But thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
But unto the son he saith, "God, thy seat shall be forever, and ever. The sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity: Wherefore God, which is thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows." For of him, and through him, and for him are all things. To him be glory forever Amen.

When he laid the foundations of the earth, I was with him, ordering all things, delighting daily, and rejoicing always before him. As for the round compass of his world, I make it joyful: for my delight is to be among the children of men. "Therefore hearken unto me, O ye children, for blessed are they that keep my ways. O give ear unto nurture, be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, and giving attendance at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me, findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But whoso offendeth against me, hurteth his own soul. All they that hate me, are the lovers of death."

Your father Abraham was glad to see my day, and he saw it and rejoiced." Then said the Jews unto him, "Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?" Jesus said unto them, "Verily, verily I say unto you: Yer Abraham was, I am."
Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus: Which, being in the shape of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Nevertheless, he made himself of no reputation, and took on him the shape of a servant, and became like unto men, and was found in his apparel as a man.

Reconciliation » Jesus Christ reconciling man to God
Forasmuch as Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, for to bring us to God, and was killed, as pertaining to the flesh: but was quickened in the spirit.
But now in Christ Jesus, ye which a while ago were far off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken down the wall in the midst, that was a stop between us, and hath also put away, through his flesh, the cause of hatred - that is to say, the law of commandments contained in the law written - for to make of twain one new man in himself, so making peace. read more.

Nevertheless, all things are of God, which hath reconciled us unto himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given unto us the office to preach the atonement. For God was in Christ, and made agreement between the world and himself, and imputed not their sins unto them: and hath committed to us the preaching of the atonement. For the law - which hath but the shadow of good things to come, and not the things in their own fashion - can never with the sacrifices which they offer year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For would not then those sacrifices have ceased to have been offered? Because that the offerers, once purged, should have had no more consciences of sins.
