Abraham » How regarded by his descendants
Don't think you can say to yourselves, "We have father Abraham!' because I tell you that God can raise up descendants for Abraham from these stones!

Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He told them, "Keep on struggling to enter through the narrow door, because I tell you that many people will try to enter, but won't be able to do so. After the homeowner gets up and closes the door, you can stand outside, knock on the door, and say again and again, "Lord, open the door for us!' But he will answer you, "I don't know where you come from.' Then you will say, "We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' But he will tell you, "I don't know where you come from. Get away from me, all you who practice evil!' The man went off and told the Jewish leaders that it was Jesus who had made him well. So the Jewish leaders began persecuting Jesus, because he kept doing such things on the Sabbath. But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I, too, am working." read more.
