And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied it, Peter, and those that were with him, said, Sir, the multitudes throng and press thee, and dost thou ask, Who was it that touched me?

great numbers were immediately gathered together, so that there was no more room to contain them, not even about the door: and as he was preaching the word unto them,

So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him, and pressed about Him.

And when the people were pressing on Him to hear the word of God, as He stood by the lake of Gennesareth, seeing two vessels at the edge of the lake,

Now his mother and his brethren came to Him, and could not come at Him for the croud:

(And lo, a woman who had had a flux of blood for twelve years, came close behind Him, and touched the hem of his garment: for she said within herself, If I can but touch his garment, I shall be cured. And Jesus turning about, and seeing her, said, Daughter be comforted, thy faith hath cured thee. And from that time the woman was healed.)

And they passed over and came into the country of Gennesaret. And the men of that place getting knowledge of Him, sent into all that country about; and they brought to Him all that were ill; and intreated Him that they might but touch the border of his garment; and as many as touched Him were made perfectly well.

And all the people endeavoured to touch Him, for there went a divine virtue out of Him, and healed them all.

and when they came out of the ship, immediately the people knew Him, and ran through all the country, and carried about in beds those that were sick, where they heard He was. And wherever He came into their towns, or cities, or villages, they laid the sick in the streets, and intreated Him that they might but touch the border of his garment, and as many as touched it were healed.

but Jesus knew it, and withdrew from thence; and great multitudes followed Him with their sick, and he healed them all, charging them not to make Him known: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant whom I have chosen, read more.
my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon Him, and He shall declare judgement to the nations: He shall not contend, nor cry aloud, nor shall any one hear his voice in the streets: a bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax he will not extinguish, till He send forth judgement victorious. And in his name shall the Gentiles hope.

but Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, and from Judea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyond Jordan; and those about Tyre and Sidon, a great number, hearing how great things He did, came unto Him. Therefore He spake to his disciples, that there might be a small vessel attending Him, because of the multitude, least they should throng Him: for He had healed many, read more.
so that whoever had any maladies, crouded upon Him to touch Him. And impure spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and cried out, saying, Thou art the Son of God: but He strictly charged them not to make Him known.

And He came down to Capernaum a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath-days, and they were astonished at his doctrine; for He spake with authority. And there was a man in the synagogue possessed by the spirit of an impure demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, read more.
saying, Let us alone, what hast thou to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know who thou art, the holy one of God: but Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent, and come out of him. And the demon threw him down in the midst of the assembly, and came out of him, having done him no hurt. And they were all amazed, and said one to another, What a speech is this? for with authority and power He commandeth the impure spirits, and they come out!
