And how much is a man better then a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do a good deed on the Sabbath day." Then said he to the man, "Stretch forth thy hand." And he stretched it forth, and it was made whole again like unto the other. Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

The chief priests, and the elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, for to put him to death, but found none: insomuch that when many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, and said, "This fellow said, I can destroy the temple of God, and build the it again in three days."
And the scribes, which came from Jerusalem, said, "He hath Beelzebub, and by the power of the chief devil, casteth out devils."
