THEN a blind and dumb demoniac was brought to him, and he cured him, so that the blind and dumb spoke and saw. And all the multitudes wondered and said, Is this the Son of David? But knowing their thoughts, he said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed; and no city or house divided against itself can stand. If Satan casts out Satan he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I by the Spirit of God cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter into the house of a strong man and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house. He that is not with me is against me, and he that gathers not with me scatters. Therefore, I tell you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven men.
