And they could not, although many false witnesses presented themselves. But finally two came forward and said, "This man said, 'I can tear down the sanctuary of God, and build it up in three days.' For the Kingdom of Heaven is like an employer who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. A hired man who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep, when he sees a wolf coming, will leave the sheep and run away, and the wolf will carry them off and scatter the flock. For he is only a hired man, and does not care about the sheep.

So when you are going to give to charity, do not blow a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do, in the synagogues and the streets, to make people praise them.
