A roaring lion, and a ranging bear, is a wicked ruler over a poor people.

Therefore shall Zion for your sake be ploughed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.


And the priests and the prophets spoke unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die, for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.

And I will appoint youths as their princes, and children shall rule over them. and he burned the house of Jehovah, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; and every great man's house he burned with fire.

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burnt up with fire, and all our precious things are laid waste.
