If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen under its load, you must not ignore him, but be sure to help him with it.
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people.
See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.
Rather, if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing this you will be heaping burning coals on his head.
But I say to you, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you,

If someone thinks he is religious yet does not bridle his tongue, and so deceives his heart, his religion is futile.
For the one who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from uttering deceit.
Then make sure you don't speak evil words or use deceptive speech!
The one who guards his words guards his life, but whoever is talkative will come to ruin.
The one who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his life from troubles.

Give to the one who asks you, and do not reject the one who wants to borrow from you.
Instead, you must be sure to open your hand to him and generously lend him whatever he needs.
It goes well for the one who generously lends money, and conducts his business honestly.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people.
