Moses came down from Mount Sinai. The two tablets of the testimony were in Moses' hand as he came down from the mountain. When he came out and told the Israelites what he had been commanded, they would see that Moses' face was glowing. Moses would put the veil back on until he went in again to speak with Jehovah.

Moses and Aaron, together with Nadab and Abihu and the seventy leaders, went up the mountain. They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was something that looked like a pavement made out of sapphire. It was as bright as the sky. Even though these leaders of Israel saw God, he did not punish them. So they ate and drank.
