Thematic Bible: Power of God

Thematic Bible

But if thou are going, do [it]. Be strong for the battle, [because] God will cast thee down before the enemy, for God has power to help, and to cast down.

He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smites through Rahab.

God has spoken once, twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.

LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means clear [the guilty]. LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Now to him who is able to establish you according to my good-news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ according to a revelation of the mystery that has been kept secret for eternal times,

to the only wise God through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory into the ages. Truly.

Whatever LORD pleased, that he has done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps,

He stood, and measured the earth. He beheld, and drove apart the nations. And the eternal mountains were scattered. The everlasting hills bowed. His goings were [as] of old.

And I heard as the sound of a large multitude, and as the sound of many waters, and as the sound of mighty thunders, saying, Praise Lord! Because Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

Because if our heart should condemn us, that God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

Why, when I came, was there no man? When I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea. I make the rivers a wilderness.
