For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, breaking of wedlock, whoredom, theft, false witness-bearing, blasphemy.
O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be helped. How long shall thy noisesome thoughts remain with thee?
The thought of the foolish is sin, and the scornful is an abomination unto men.
And beware that there be not a point of Belial in thine heart, that thou wouldest say, 'The seventh year, the year of freedom is at hand,' and therefore it grieve thee to look on thy poor brother and givest him nought and he then cry unto the LORD against thee and it be sin unto thee.
They imagine wickedness, and keep it secret among themselves; every man in the deep of his heart.
The LORD knoweth the thoughts of men, that they are but vain.
The LORD abhorreth the imaginations of the wicked; but pure words are pleasant to him.
for he doth as a man that pescribeth a measure in his heart. He sayeth unto thee, "Eat and drink," whereas his heart is not with thee.
For I will come to gather all people and tongues with their works and imaginations: these shall come, and see my glory.
And when Jesus saw their thoughts, he said, "Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

The ways of the froward are strange; but the works of him that is clean, are right.
Unto the pure, are all things pure: but unto them that are defiled, and unbelieving, is nothing pure: but even the very minds and consciences of them are defiled.
