The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of holy things is understanding.
And unto man he said, 'Behold, to fear the LORD is wisdom: and to forsake evil, is understanding.'"
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do thereafter. The praise of it endureth forever.
If any man be wise and endued with learning among you, let him show the works of his good conversation in meekness that is coupled with wisdom.

I determined also, as soon as I had searched out diligently all things from the beginning, that then I would write unto thee, good Theophilus, that thou mightest know the certainty of those things, whereof thou art informed.
