And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth.
But we see this same Jesus, crowned with glory and honour, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
but to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
And now, O Father, clarify thou me with thine own self with that clarity which I had with thee before the world was.
God, having spoken many times and in many ways in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last times spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the ages;
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and virtue; for thou hast created all things, and by thy will they have their being and were created.
Of old thou hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture thou shalt change them, and they shall be changed: But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
But unto the Son he said, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a rod of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity; therefore, God, even thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: read more.

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up with eternal dominion, from the beginning, before the earth was. I was begotten before the depths, before the existence of the fountains of many waters. read more.
Before the mountains were founded, before the hills was I begotten. While as yet he had not made the earth nor the fields nor the beginning of the dust of the world, when he composed the heavens, I was there. When he set a compass upon the face of the depth, when he established the clouds above, when he strengthened the fountains of the deep, when he gave to the sea his decree that the waters should not pass his commandment, when he appointed the foundations of the earth, I was with him ordering everything; I was his delight every day, being content before him at all times; I am content in the circumference of his earth, and my contentment is with the sons of men. Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye sons; for blessed are those that keep my ways. Hearken unto chastening, and be wise; refuse it not. Blessed is the man that hears me, keeping vigil at my gates, waiting at the threshold of my doors. For whosoever finds me shall find life and shall obtain the will of the LORD. But he that sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those that hate me love death.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with the God. All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day, and he saw it and was glad. Then the Jews said unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature; for by him were all things created, that are in the heavens and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and in him; And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the empire of death, that is, the devil, and deliver those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to slavery. For verily he did not take the angels, but he took the seed of Abraham.
For if Jesus had given them rest, then he would not afterward have spoken of another day.

Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of men. O ye simple, understand prudence; and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear, for I will speak of excellent things, and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth, and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing perverse or twisted in them. They are all plain to him that understands and right to those that have found wisdom. Receive my chastening and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than precious stones; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and I invent the knowledge of giving counsel. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride, arrogancy, the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate. With me is counsel, and existence; I am understanding; strength belongs to me. By me the kings reign, and the princes decree justice. By me the princes rule, and all of the governors judge the earth. I love those that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with me, yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than precious stones, and my revenue than choice silver. I shall lead in the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of judgment, that I may cause my friends to inherit existence and I will fill their treasures.
