Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News, but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.
Peter said, "Look, we have left our homes and followed you." He said to them, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the Kingdom of God's sake, who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life."
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God's salvation to him."
Oh give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make his deeds known among the peoples.
nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.read more.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
So since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, through which we may offer service pleasing to God, with reverence and awe,
