The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

What purpose then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. My eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.
