The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
