And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon, king of the Amorites, saying,

And so the LORD our God delivered into our hands, Og also the king of Bashan and all his folk. And we smote him until nought was left him. And we took all his cities the same season, for there was not a city which we took not from them; even three score cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. And we utterly destroyed them, as we played with Sihon king of Heshbon: bringing to nought all the cities with men, women and children.
