And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and put them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: So that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
He that has knowledge spares his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit. Even a fool, when he holds his peace, is counted wise: and he that shuts his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
Whosoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.
If any man among you seems to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
