Therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how [else] should I do, because of the daughter of my people? The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.
though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb.
For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn't there.

For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
The fear of Yahweh prolongs days, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
who were snatched away before their time, whose foundation was poured out as a stream,
Don't be too wicked, neither be foolish. Why should you die before your time?
They are planted scarcely. They are sown scarcely. Their stock has scarcely taken root in the ground. He merely blows on them, and they wither, and the whirlwind takes them away as stubble.
