Thou number my wanderings. Put thou my tears into thy bottle. Are they not in thy book? Then shall my enemies turn back in the day that I call. This I know, that God is for me. In God I will praise [his] word. In LORD I will praise [his] word.

Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud,

Praise him with trumpet sound. Praise him with psaltery and harp.

Raise a song, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth. All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king. And the number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to LORD, even all who were skilful, was two hundred eighty-eight.

I will incline my ear to a parable. I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and give thanks to thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth. For thou have magnified thy word above all thy name.
