For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering thou did not desire, but thou prepared for me a body. LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.

For LORD takes pleasure in his people. He will beautify the meek with salvation.

He who loves pleasure shall be a poor man. He who loves wine and oil shall not be rich.

And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou have many goods laid up for many years. Take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry. But God said to him, Thou foolish man, they demand thy soul from thee this night, and the things that thou prepared, whose will they be?
