The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, for to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. And he sent and showed by his angel unto his servant John,

And I saw a strong angel which cried with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?"

And all the angels stood in the compass of the seat, and of the elders and of the four beasts, and fell before the seat on their faces, and worshipped God,

And I went unto the angel, and said to him, "Give me the little book," and he said unto me, "Take it, and eat it up, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth as sweet as honey."

And then was given me a reed, like unto a rod, and it was said unto me, "Rise and mete the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein;

And the angel said unto me, "Wherefore marvellest thou? I will show thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that beareth her, which hath seven heads, and ten horns.

And I fell at his feet, to worship him. And he said unto me, "See thou do it not. For I am thy fellow servant, and one of thy brethren, and of them that have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

I am John, which saw these things and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down, to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head. And his face as it were the sun, and his feet as it were pillars of fire; And he had in his hand a little book open: and he put his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth. And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth. And when he had cried, seven thunders spake their voices. read more.
And when the seven thunders had spoken their voices, I was about to write. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, "Seal up those things which the seven thunders spake, and write them not." And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea, and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, and swore by him that liveth forevermore, which created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which therein are; that there should be no longer time: but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to blow, even the mystery of God shall be finished, as he preached by his servants the prophets. And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, "Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel, which standeth upon the sea, and upon the earth." And I went unto the angel, and said to him, "Give me the little book," and he said unto me, "Take it, and eat it up, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth as sweet as honey." And I took the little book out of his hand, and ate it up, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey, and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
