His tail swept a third of the stars of heaven, and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered. He was ready to devour her child as soon as it was born. She gave birth to a male-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod (scepter) of iron. Her child was caught up to God and to his throne. The serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth rescued the woman, and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed up the flood that the dragon spewed out of his mouth. Another sign appeared in heaven. It was a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. His tail swept a third of the stars of heaven, and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered. He was ready to devour her child as soon as it was born. She gave birth to a male-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod (scepter) of iron. Her child was caught up to God and to his throne. read more.
The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God. There they feed her a thousand two hundred and sixty days. War broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. The dragon lost and no place in heaven was found for him any longer. The great dragon was thrown down, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was hurled down to the earth, and his angels with him. I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now has come the salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power (authority) of his Christ: for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accused them before our God day and night. They conquered (overcame) him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives when faced with death. Therefore rejoice (be glad), you heavens, and you that dwell in them. But woe to the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having fierce anger, because he knows that he has only a short time. When the dragon saw that he was thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male-child. Two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time (one thousand two hundred and sixty days), out of the serpent's reach. The serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. But the earth rescued the woman, and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed up the flood that the dragon spewed out of his mouth. The dragon was furious with the woman and waged war with the remnant of her seed. These are the ones who obey the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates. Its water was dried up so that the way might be prepared for the kings from the east. I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are demonic spirits, working signs, which go to the kings of the earth, of the whole world. They gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. read more.
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his outer garment, that he does not walk naked and they see his shame. He gathered them together to a place called in the Hebrew tongue Har-Magedon. Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came out of the temple of heaven. It said: It is done! There were voices, and thunders, and lightnings. There was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. God remembered Babylon the Great. He gave her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his anger (wrath). Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. There fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent (45 to 100 pounds). Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for the plague was exceeding great.

When the thousand years end, Satan will be let loose out of his prison. Satan will go out to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. The number of these is as the sand of the sea (too great to count). They advanced over the broad plain of the earth, and encircled the camp of the holy ones, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven and devoured (consumed) them. read more.

The ten horns that you saw are ten kings. They have not yet received a kingdom. But they receive power (authority) (influence) as kings for one hour with the beast. They are united in one purpose (single-minded), and they will give their power and authority to the beast. They will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome (conquer) them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. Those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
He came near where I stood. I was afraid and fell to my face. But he said to me: Understand, O son of man the vision belongs to the time of the end. He spoke to me while I was in a deep sleep with my face to the ground. He touched me, and set me upright. He said: I will make you know what will happen in the final time of indignation for the vision is for the appointed time of the end. read more.
The ram that you saw that had the two horns symbolizes (represents) the kings of MEDIA and PERSIA. And the rough he-goat is the king of GREECE. The great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power. Toward the end of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, a FIERCE KING will arise who will understand sinister schemes. He will be mighty, but not by his own power. He will destroy excessively (cause great devistation) and will prosper and do anything he wants to do. He will destroy the mighty ones and the holy people. Through his policy he will cause deceit to prosper in his hand. He will boast about himself in his heart. In their security they will destroy many. He will even stand up against the prince of princes; but he will be destroyed without human power. The vision told about the evenings and mornings is true: but seal up the vision. It belongs to the future.

There was given me a reed like a measuring rod: and the angel stood, saying: Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship there. Do not measure the court outside the temple for it is given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months. I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. read more.
These (witnesses) are the two olive trees, and the two lamp stands standing before the God of the earth. If any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies. If any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These (two witnesses) have power to shut the sky so that it will not rain in the days of their prophecy. They have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. When they finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them and conquer them, and kill them.

The dragon stood on the shore by the sea. I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. His horns had ten crowns on them. Blasphemous names were on his heads. The beast I saw looked like a leopard. His feet were like the feet of a bear. His mouth was like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority. One of his heads appeared to have had a fatal wound. His fatal wound had healed, and the entire world followed the beast with admiration. read more.
Men worshiped the dragon that gave power to the beast. They worshiped the beast, saying: Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him? A mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to the beast. And authority to act was given to him to continue forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, to slander his name, and his dwelling place, and those who live in heaven. It was granted to him to wage war with the holy ones, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all tribes, and tongues, and nations.

I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and he who sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns (diadems). He had a name written that no man knew, but himself. He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. read more.
The armies in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with a rod of iron. He treads the winepress of the fierceness and anger of Almighty God. He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Then I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice to all the fowls that fly in midheaven: Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of military commanders, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.
