For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world and more abundantly towards you. Thou art good and doest good; teach me thy statutes. The proud have forged a lie against me, but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Their heart became fat like grease, but I delight in thy law. It was good for me that I have been humbled, that I might learn thy statutes.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and in that which has been entrusted unto thee, knowing of whom thou hast learned them, and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto saving health by the faith which is in Christ Jesus. Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This same is antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father. Whosoever confesses the Son, has the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. For if that which ye have heard from the beginning shall abide in you, ye also shall continue to abide in the Son and in the Father. read more.
