And he took the book of the covenant and read in the audience of the people, and they said, All that the LORD has said we will do, and we will hear.

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the beginning of the seventh year, in the appointed time of the year of release, in the feast of the tabernacles, when all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

After this he read all the words of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the law. There was not a word of all the things that Moses commanded which Joshua did not read before all the congregation of Israel with the women and the little ones and the strangers that walked among them.

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he who made them at the beginning made them male and female?

and said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus said unto them, Yes; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of children and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

And have ye not read this scripture: The stone which the builders rejected is placed as the head of the corner; This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

But he beheld them and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which is spoken unto you by God, who saith,

Therefore, when ye see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, which shall stand in the holy place (whosoever reads, let him understand),

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation (spoken of by Daniel the prophet) standing where it ought not, he that reads, let him understand, then let those that are in Judaea flee to the mountains;

And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the congregation of the Laodiceans, and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter (like this) into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded this unto them in all the scriptures concerning himself.

by which, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of the Christ),

but these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life in his name.

and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto saving health by the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my way.

Blessed is he that reads and those that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein, for the time is at hand.

For the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction that we, through patient endurance and through the comfort of the scriptures, might have hope.

My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye sin not; and if anyone has sinned, we have an Advocate before the Father, Jesus, the righteous Christ;

for he mightily convinced the Jews in public, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all diligence and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel, for there is not another; but there are some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of the Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, were to preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be anathema.read more.
As we said before, so do I say now again, If anyone preaches any other gospel unto you than what ye have received, let him be anathema.

Therefore, beloved, seeing that ye hope for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot and blameless. And have as saving health the patience of our Lord, even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you in almost all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, among which are some things that are hard to understand, which those that are ignorant and unstable twist, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

These things I have written unto you concerning those that seduce you.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
