Like as a father has mercy upon his children, so the LORD has mercy upon those that fear him.

Show me a token for good that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed because thou, O LORD, hast helped me and comforted me.

Who is among you that fears the LORD? Hearken unto the voice of his slave. He who walked in darkness and had no light; let him trust in the name of the LORD and stay upon his God.

But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; such that we all are the work of thy hands. Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever; behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says. And shall not God avenge his own elect who cry day and night unto him though he bears long regarding them?

for the Father himself loves you because ye have loved me and have believed that I came out from God.

And now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, those whom thou hast given me, keep them in thy name, that they may be one, as we are.

He that did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also give us all things with him?

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

For in that he himself has suffered and was tempted, he is also powerful to help those that are tempted.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd; he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom and shall gently lead those that are with young.

He shall not break a bruised reed, nor shall he quench the smoking flax; he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

But he was wounded for our rebellions; he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and by his stripes healing was provided for us.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are broken,

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me; he has sent me to preach good tidings unto those who are cast down; to bind up the wounds of the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those that are bound;

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

And ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and no one shall take your joy from you.

Who shall separate us from the charity of Christ? shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? (As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.) Therefore I am certain that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any creature shall be able to separate us from the charity of God, which is in Christ, Jesus our Lord.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Therefore he is able also to save to the uttermost those that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself lest ye be wearied in your souls and faint.

and I will ask the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him, or know him; but ye know him, for he dwells with you and shall be in you.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those that ask him?

and the hope shall not be ashamed, because the love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.

And likewise also the Spirit helps our weakness; for we know not how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself makes entreaty for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

But the fruit of the Spirit is this: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man,

If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; for the glory and the Spirit of God rests upon you; certainly on their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

For your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

For the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction that we, through patient endurance and through the comfort of the scriptures, might have hope.

And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Jesus, the Christ, after ye have suffered a little while, he himself perfects, confirms, strengthens, and establishes you.

Therefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, leaving behind all the weight of the sin which surrounds us, let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

He shall have regarded the prayer of those who are alone and destitute and not despised their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come, and the people who shall be created shall praise JAH.

But the LORD is with me as a powerful giant; therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper; they shall have everlasting confusion which shall never be forgotten.

And let the God of peace bruise Satan under your feet quickly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

But now Christ is risen from the dead and become the firstfruits of those that slept.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
