"Thou shalt make thee no graven image, neither any similitude that is in heaven above, either in the earth beneath, or in the water that is beneath the earth. See that thou neither bow thyself unto them neither serve them: for I, the LORD thy God, am a jealous God, and visit the sin of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me: and yet show mercy unto thousands among them that love me and keep my commandments. "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. "Remember the Sabbath day that thou sanctify it. Six days mayest thou labour and do all that thou hast to do: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God, in it thou shalt do no manner work: neither thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, neither thy manservant nor thy maidservant, neither thy cattle neither yet the stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the LORD made both heaven and earth and the sea and all that in them is and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. "Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. "Thou shalt not kill. "Thou shalt not break wedlock. "Thou shalt not steal. "Thou shalt bear no false witness against thy neighbor. "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house: neither shalt covet thy neighbor's wife, his manservant, his maid, his ox, his ass or ought that is his."

For which cause the LORD thy God commandeth thee to keep the Sabbath day. 'Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee: that thou mayest prolong thy days, and that it may go well with thee on the land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 'Thou shalt not kill. 'Thou shalt not break wedlock. 'Thou shalt not steal. 'Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. 'Thou shalt not lust after thy neighbour's wife: thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, field, servant, maid, ox, ass nor ought that is thy neighbour's.'

Owe nothing to any man: but to love one another. For he that loveth another, fulfilleth the law. For these commandments: Thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not desire, and so forth: if there be any other commandment, they are all comprehended in this saying, "Love thine neighbor as thyself." Love hurteth not his neighbor: Therefore is love the fulfilling of the law.
