And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me. Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations, immersing them (the disciples) into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo; I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age.
in consequence of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which is present among you, as it is also in all the world, and is producing fruit, even as it has been doing also among you, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,
And he said to them: These are the words that I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled that are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then he opened their mind, that they might understand the scriptures, and he said to them: Thus it is written, and thus was it necessary that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day, read more.
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And the gospel must first be preached among all the nations.
