And he said to them: Go and toll that fox, Be hold, I cast out demons, and perform cures to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I finish the work. But I must continue my journey to-day and to-morrow and the day following; for it is not possible that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night comes, when no man can work.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole habitable earth, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the end come.
But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I declare to you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.read more.
For this corruptible body must put on incorruptibility; and this mortal body must put on immortality. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be completed: and after this he must be loosed for a little while.
And he said to me: These words are faithful and true; and the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to show his servants the things that must shortly take place.
I testify indeed again to every man that is circumcised, that he is bound to do the whole law.

But we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of those who are not strong, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor in that which is good for his edification.
I write these things to you, hoping to come to you shortly; but if I delay, that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.
But reject those profane and oldwomanish fables, and exercise yourself for godliness. For the exercise of the body is profitable for little; but godliness is profitable for all things, and has the promise of the life that now is, and also of that which is to come.
Shun youthful desires, and follow righteousness, faithfulness, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. But avoid foolish and unprofitable questions, because you know that they produce contentions: and the servant of the Lord must not be contentious, but gentle toward all men, able to teach, patient under evils,
