And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole habitable earth, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the end come.

Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations, immersing them (the disciples) into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;

And the gospel must first be preached among all the nations.

And he said to them: Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.

And on the morrow, as they were going on their journey, and were drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the house top to pray, about the sixth hour. And he became very hungry, and desired to eat; but while they were making ready, he fell into a trance; and he saw heaven opened, and some vessel, like a great sheet, descending, bound by the four corners, and let down to the earth.read more.
In this were all kinds of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts and creeping things and birds of the air. And there came a voice to him: Rise, Peter, kill and eat. But Peter said: By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing common or unclean. And the voice came to him again a second time: What God has cleansed, you must not call common. This was done the third time; and the vessel was taken up again into heaven. Now, while Peter was perplexed within himself about the meaning of the vision which he had seen, behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius, having made inquiry for the house of Simon, stood before the gate. And they called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, lodged there. While Peter was thinking of the vision, the Spirit said to him: Behold, three men ask for you: arise then, and go down, and go with them without hesitation, for I have sent them.

And while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said: Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul, to the work to which I have called them. Then, after they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. Therefore, having been sent forth by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and thence sailed to Cyprus.

For thus has the Lord given us commandment: I have placed thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be for salvation to the most distant part of the earth.

And when we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying, in the Hebrew language, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? He replied, I am Jesus, whom you persecute. delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom now I send you, in order to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among the sanctified, by faith in me.

for a great and effective door is opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having the eternal gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, even to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice: Fear God, and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him that made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
