For the salvation-imparting grace of God appeared to all men, teaching us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and righteously, and godly in the present age; looking for the blissful hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works. These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise you.
