Consequently, there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and death.
If, therefore, the Son shall make you free, ye will be free indeed.

What, then, shall we say? Shall we persist in sin, that grace may abound? It could not be! How shall we, who died to sin, live any longer therein? Or are ye ignorant, that all we who were immersed into Christ Jesus were immersed into His death? read more.
We were buried, therefore, with Him through the immersion into death; that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For, if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be brought to nought, that we should no more be in bondage to sin; for he that died has been justified from sin.

For he that was called in the Lord, being a slave, is the Lord's freedman: likewise, he that was called, being free, is Christ's slave. Ye were bought with a price; become not slaves of men.
