And there arose a contention among them, which of them should be greatest. But Jesus perceived the thought of their heart, and he took a little child, and made it stand by him, and said to them: Whoever will receive this little child on my account, receives me; and whoever will receive me, receives him that sent me. For he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
And the Son of man goes, as it is determined; but alas for that man by whom he is delivered up. And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it could be that was about to do this thing. And he said to them: The kings of the nations have dominion over them, and those who exercise authority over them are called benefactors. But you shall not be so; but let the greatest among you be as the younger, and him that is chief, as he that serves. For which is greater, he that reclines at table, or he that serves? Is not he that reclines at table? But I am among you as one that serves.

Whoever, there fore, shall make void one of the least of these commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever shall do and teach, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, and said: Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child to him, and placed him in the midst of them, and said: Verily I say to you, Unless you turn and become as little children, you can not enter the kingdom of heaven. read more.
