But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Verily, verily, I say to you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send, receiveth me; and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.

He that receiveth you, receiveth me, and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.

And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

Whoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

And said to them, Whoever shall receive this child in my name, receiveth me; and whoever shall receive me, receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me.

Jesus cried, and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me:

For I have given to them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

And if ye will receive it, this is Elijah who was to come.

But he said to them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, who were so born from their mothers womb: and there are some eunuchs, who were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

He that hath received his testimony, hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God: for to him God giveth not the Spirit by measure.

He came to his own, and his own received him not.

Verily, verily, I say to thee, We speak what we know, and testify what we have seen; and ye receive not our testimony.

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, who receive honor one from another, and seek not the honor that cometh from God only?

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it?
