Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he who goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said to thee.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

And we desire every one of you to show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope to the end:
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the vail;
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.

I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean by itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours should become a stumbling-block to them that are weak. For if any man shall see thee, who hast knowledge, sit eating in the idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols; And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? Is it not in that thou goest with us? So shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
And he said to him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then show me a sign that thou talkest with me.
And Zacharias said to the angel, By what shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife far advanced in years.
That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the acknowledgment of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
