I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. You once presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to sin. Now you present your members as servants to righteousness and sanctification (purification) (holiness). When you were servants of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
Many live as enemies of the stake of Christ. I often wept as I told you about them. Their end is destruction. Their god is their belly. Their glory is in their shame. They set their mind on earthly things.
