Search the scriptures: in them ye think ye have eternal life: and it is they that testify of me. Yet ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.

From this time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.

He came to his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he privilege to become the sons of God, to them that believe in his name: Who were born, not of blood, nor by the will of the flesh, nor by the will of man, but of God.
