9 Bible Verses about Affection For God's People

As to the saints in the earth, they are the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

in brotherly love to one another, loving fervently, having led one another in honor.

Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort, and we rather rejoiced more abundantly over the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. For if I have boasted anything about you to him, I was not ashamed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting as to Titus became truth. And his tender feelings are more abundant toward you, remembering the obedience of you all, as you received him with fear and trembling.

So affectionately longing for you, we were willing to have imparted to you, not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls, because you have become beloved to us.

For God is my witness how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

My children, for whom I again travail until Christ should be formed in you,

besides the things outside conspiring against me daily, the care of all the churches.

But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse warmly cherishes her children. So affectionately longing for you, we were willing to have imparted to you, not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls, because you have become beloved to us.
