And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

Iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the face of his friend.

Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Let the aged women likewise be in reverent behavior, not slanderers, not enslaved by much wine, teachers of good; that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,

He who walks with the wise shall be wise, but a companion with fools shall be destroyed.

Know well the face of your flocks; set your heart on your herds.
