And in most of you love will grow cold by the increase of iniquity;

But I have this against you: you have given up loving one another as you did at first.

And may the Lord make you increase and excel in love to one another and to all men (as is my love for you),

never let your zeal flag; maintain the spiritual glow; serve the Lord;

Now, what has become of all that? (I can bear witness that you would have torn out your very eyes, if you could, and given me them.)
