yet now did He reconcile in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and without blemish, and irreproachable, before Him;

and not only so, but we are rejoicing in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we now received the reconciliation.

But all things are of God, Who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; how that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having put in us the word of reconciliation. On behalf of Christ, therefore, we are ambassadors, as though God were beseeching through us, we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God

For, as sheep, ye were going astray; but now ye returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

(bearing with one another, and freely forgiving one another, if any one have a complaint against any; even as the Lord freely forgave you, so also do ye):

If, therefore, you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has ought against you, leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way, first be reconciled to your brother, and then, coming, offer your gift.
